A true Midwesterner, Liz grew up dreaming of one day becoming either an Olympic Figure Skater or a Chicago Cub.  However, after placing 5th at Nationals at only 14 years old, Liz got boobs, ending any real chance at a competitive figure skating career.  It was then that she turned her love of performance to the stage. 

Liz became a fixture in her community’s theater scene.  She was cast in many school and local performances, eventually being accepted into the Second City Affiliated Player’s Workshop in downtown Chicago.  She quickly fell in love with improv, creating many original characters and performing in front of numerous sold out houses.  Soon thereafter, Liz craved more training.  She set her sights on Northwestern University’s prestigious summer program – affectionately referred to as “Cherubs” by alumni – and was immediately accepted.  After completing “the best summer ever,” Liz, at age 16, knew the Cubs weren’t ever going to call and that becoming a professional actress was her true desire.   

Having graduated from high school, Liz set out for the East Coast (with the stern resolve to never say “soda” over “pop”).  She studied at Brown University in Providence, RI, earning a Bachelors Degree in both Theater and Socio Linguistics.  While at Brown, Liz performed in many university productions and was also selected to study in London at the esteemed British Academy of Dramatic Arts (BADA).  While in London she honed her classical acting skills, and was given the great honor of performing Shakespeare’s Measure for Measure at the Bridge Lane Theater.

After studying and performing in the Midwest, East Coast, and England, Liz decided to head west.  Much to her mother’s dismay, she relocated to Los Angeles where she currently lives and works.  She has been described as having the sass of a young Marisa Tomei mixed with the sexiness of Eva Longoria.  It is with this combination of sassy sexiness, intelligent intensity and salt of the earth relatability that Liz continues to book work and receive accolades from casting directors and network executives around town.
